Thanks to Mike G. from Harleysville, PA for sharing his clam bake experience with us!

Mike says: Don't usually do this, but had to praise your product. I absolutely cannot believe the number of flies that I have trapped since receiving 3 of your traps late on Friday

Mike used clams for his bait and got great results.

Mike says: In getting the clams ready for the bake there were a few dead ones so I cracked open the shells and used them as bait. What fantastic results!

Thank to Virginia for sharing her success story with us!

Virginia from Memphis TN states: "WOW! Within one hour we caught about 50 flies. The best bait vessel we found was a large tuna can just the right height!. Thanks ridmaxco. I’m sharing my success stories on the WWW."

Thanks to Mike in Burbank CA for sending in this photo of his trap in action. He uses a garden trellis from Lowe's garden store to protect his trap from his very energetic Yellow Lab!

These pictures were sent in by a customer in the UK. He caught all these flies in just 3 days.

"This one shows the flies all over the bucket and outside of the trap ..."

"This one shows the flies in the trap a little better ... "

"Here is what the whole bucket looks like, notice it is a very small bucket that is only a few inches wider than the trap. This helps to direct the flies up into the trap."

"This is how many flies fit in the trap in only one cleaning, there has to be several thousand at least. That pile is 6'' tall and 8" across."

These flies were caught using a bit of manure as bait.

Hanging the trap

Two hours after set up!

Traps can be used safely around animals!

Here is our trap today (August 9, 2005). This is 9 days worth of flies, moths, earwigs, hornets, and carpenter bees.

Notice there are at least 3 inches of dead bugs on the bottom of the trap.

There are even flies on the outside of the trap trying to find their way in!

This trap has been in use for 4 fly seasons (years) now. We take it down in the late fall when the bugs are gone and then put it back up during the spring.
